Hack – A – Way
Apollo Hospitals has always prided itself in providing the best patient care and ensuring that the latest innovations & cutting-edge technology is available to the people of India. To encourage ideas & innovations in Healthcare, Apollo Hospitals has launched Apollo Innovation Quest, our state-of-the-art innovation centre, in the heart of Apollo’s Health City campus in Hyderabad. AIQ works closely with start-ups, clinicians & industry leaders to promote real innovations in Healthcare.
The program, Apollo Hack-a-Way, was the first of its kind, hospital backed, health-tech Hackathon, with the theme: “Real Ideas, Real Innovations” The event focused on finding innovative tech-enabled solutions for problems faced by hospitals, cost-effective alternatives to existing expensive solutions and simple, easily replicable & usable alternatives that address the pain points for our clinicians, nurses & administrative staff.
The Hackathon provided participating teams clinical immersion & interaction with clinician mentors. Each problem area was mentored by a designated clinician.
